Where art meets community
ART FOR ALL has been running since 1997 and is a highlight of the Fairfield Primary School calendar. Originally a showcase for artistic parents, it now features renowned and collectible Melbourne artists. But it remains – at its core – a community art show, open to anyone to enter free of charge.
But ART FOR ALL is more than an art show. It’s a celebration of visual and performing arts. An opportunity for young and old to see, experience and immerse themselves in fabulous art and creativity over a weekend. And an opportunity to showcase the creativity in our students.

Get your 2024 ART FOR ALL T-Shirts!
Some people say our annual ART FOR ALL t-shirt is our second school uniform. Inspired by Salvador Dali, who the children have been exploring in the Art Studio, our 2024 design is available in both children's and adult sizing.
These t-shirts are sewn and printed right here in Melbourne. Since they're made to order, the closing date for orders is Friday 7 June. There will be no second round of orders this year, so get in while you can.

Each year our gallery features an exciting mix of local community artists alongside well-known and collectible artists. All art is available for purchase. The gallery is open all weekend.

Our gallery shop is a curated pop-up shop selling bespoke goods by talented Melbourne artisans and craftspeople – perfect for Christmas gifts. The shop is open all weekend.

Children’s Gallery
This year in the FPS Art Studio the wonderful Marjie is teaching our kids all about Salvador Dali. We look forward to seeing artworks from all the children – from Foundation to Grade 6 – in the style of this unique artist.

Gala Night
Saturday, 7 September 2024
7pm-11pm
Gala Night is the official opening of ART FOR ALL. It’s a fun night for adults featuring musical entertainment and art prizes. Tickets cost $30 and include a glass of bubbles on arrival and amazing food throughout the evening (prepared and served by our Grade 6 students).

PARTY FOR ALL
Sunday, 8 September 2024
10am-2pm
PARTY FOR ALL is a day for everyone. The Gallery and Gallery Shop are open and there are lots of great creative activities on. Kids can buy a wristband for ArtZone and enjoy 4 hours of arty fun, or get a ticket to see our Family-Friendly Show. There’s a free Art Trail through the Gallery to complete, and much more. We won’t let you go hungry with a Kids Cafe and lots of food options for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
