Mario Mirabile
Mario is a Melbourne-based enthusiast making pictures since the 1980s just for the buzz it gives him.
Mario practices many styles of photography, but sees himself primarily as an observer and interpreter of the built environment through stylized street photography and urban landscape work. He is drawn to and motivated by the compositional constructs of the natural and un-natural geometry which surrounds us, and can often be found in Melbourne’s streets and laneways, seeking out the graphic backdrops he favours in his images.
